We know through experience that success is a learnt behaviour and that it takes more than just technical skills to achieve it. Through our apprentice development programmes, we help those at the start of their careers to develop the following skills and abilities:

- Giving and receiving feedback

- Managing the unknown
These, along with our other established building blocks, are developed over 1, 3 and 5 day courses. Each participant will have guided reflection time throughout their experience at Swallet farm and will return to their workplace with an evidence log charting their progress.

On return to work, the apprentices will deliver a presentation to their managers informing them what they did and crucially what they have learnt.
Corporate Social Responsibility
As well as developing the effectiveness of your apprentices, our 3 and 5 day apprentice development programmes incorporate an expedition designed to test the skills and attributes that have been developed during the course. As part of this they have to find and collect components and instructions from various locations. The day culminates in using these to build and install a sign or stile for the Mendip Hills AONB unit. The stile will be marked with an engraved plaque bearing your companies logo and we will make a donation to the Mendip Hills AONB fund.
